Ok, so I have always wanted to be able to add weight without seeing. I have finally done it. I posted a thread a while back that showed a bag on each side of my engine wired in on top of my ballast. I also used to add a 500 lb bag in the bow. Tonight I put a 350 in the bow (on the left side) and just worked it around the battery. I figure I will get between 200 and 250 lbs out of this. Then to counter that I put 215 lbs of lead on the right side in front of the built in cooler. So basically I have the same amount of weight up there, but you can't see it.

I've been trying to figure out how to do something like this forever without having to buy anything. I'm hoping to take pics this weekend.

Basically 850lbs of stock ballast, plus about 1300 lbs of sacs and lead and then of course people

ok, Jeremy we are close I also run that amount. Lately I have been running more in the front. I lets you release from the wake cleaner.

That's pretty close to what I run also. I stash 400 lbs in POP bags in the nose.

What is your weight distribution front back middle?

I just got the POP bags delivered to my office earlier this AM & unloaded em from the truck... my HR director was like what are those??? I told her it's a special delivery from Columbia - hahahaha - shes got a good sense of humor. Can't wait to start throwing em in an playing rond w/ the weight!

Aaron, I run a 750 sac which is prob 600 then two 150 cubes and 160 of lead. So 1060 up front.

In the back I run stock tanks of 400 than 300 of sand then 160 of lead. 860 in the back. Plus another 150 of lead thats moved around in the passagers part.
Total is 2070.

Aaron I run lighter than Brian. I have 400# in the nose, stock ballast, and an extra hundred in the seating area to clean up the wake. For me, this configuration seems to work well with four people.

It sounds like you are running a lot of weight up front.
I run the 310 in stock ballast (middle tank) and then about 500 extra up front. Then I run the 540 in stock tanks in the back and an extra 700 back there. Basically puts aboiut 65% of my weight in the back and 35% in the front. Then I figure most of the people sit in the middle of the boat so it should keep that distribution.

Thnx... I just got my X2, don't need as much weight as Evan n Jrod ( just yet ) - LOL.

I just got 520 in lead / pop bags delivered on Friday = ) + the stock ballast. I need the damn weather to break so I can start playing around with the configurations.

I think I am gonna throw another 120 ( 240 )on each side of the engine and then 280 in the nose to start. Hows this sound, any other recomendations?

Back ( 400 tanks + 240 lead ) = 640
Center ( 350 bag ) = 350
Nose ( 280 Lead ) = 280

Jeremy, I also used to run more weight in the back. What I found was the more weight in the back the steeper the wake in turn stops your pop. With more weight in the front you get less lip and a cleaner smoother pop which lets you ride a longer line with less effort. Give it a try I think you will find you will like it.

Aaron, I think the X2 also likes weight up front. Ed, Even and J-rods boats are dialed in.

I know what you are saying. I used to run a lot of weight up front. How long are you trying to ride? I went from an x star (x1) to this boat and one of the things i like was the steep wake. I guess it may be a style preference deal. I put a lot more weight in the front of the x star than I do mine.

Wouldn't we all. ha ha. I ride at 75. Basically if I was going to ride at 80 I would add a lot more up front because it curls so much back there. so if you are riding there i see why you are putting the extra up front. i think we are on the same page. good luck dialing in the tricks. if you find an easy way to do that let me know

Another option on the 210 is to cut out the bow cooler and use the Fly High Integrated Bow sack. That thing fits perfectly in the nose and fills to what I would guess is 600 Lbs.

pro-x fat sac- 700 probably more like 600 a side next to the engine

Pro-x rear seat bottom 600 in ski locker(center)

lead 200 all the way up in the nose.

Total 2000lbs plus people.
