A full week of deluging rain, a little flooding, and cold air temps have finally run everyone off. We have the lake to ourselves for the next four months.

It was my first time on a Roam, a lot of fun, but totally different.

Great water, great day... This is mid-November in Seattle? WTF? Thanks Cliff!

Nice day- We were out on the south end of lake washington today, it looked just like that, it was pretty much awesome. My cousin came down from b-ham to ride, I'll try to get some pics up also. Good day to board and surf thats for sure.

Brett- no we were out in my moomba lsv, J. Hawk left his boat up in B-ham. And by the way there was a ton of debris on the lake I've never seen LW like that before. The rivers must have brought it in. It was pretty hariy right by coulan. We ended up boarding over by seward park it was ok over there.

It was hard to believe yesterday was mid November in Seattle. Today was foggy on Lake WA early then cleared up, another beautiful day with wall to wall glass.

So I'm confused...the lake doesn't freeze over? Man I didn't Seattle was that much nicer than Minneapolis in the winter. You guys are crazy! :-) Doesn't it ever freeze?

It doesn't get even close to as cold in Seattle as it does in Minneapolis. It snows in Seattle once or twice a year and is below freezing only a handful of nights. If you have a drysuit the winter riding here is awesome. I am not sure what the coldest the water gets but I would guess 45-50 or something like that.

Water get's into low 40's and upper 30's in the dead of winter. Definately need gloves and booties or closed toe bindings.
