I got one of these elbow quick connect fittings pictured below. Do I need to get the spa hose stretched over both the first and second (larger) ridge on the fitting to make sure I get a leak proof fit? What a pain stretching that spa tubing, even with the heat gun.

hmmm, that's why it was so tough. Well I pulled the hose over and have a hose clamp on each side of the second ridge. Over kill I guess.

The second ridge is a stop. Go to that point and put a clamp on it.
