I just want to know based on performance and reliability of the 2 boats which would be better. Looking at a 01 SAN 210 w/ 300 hours and then I can get a used 05 Supra 21v for about the same cost...a little more. But would it be worth getting a 4 year + newer boat over a SAN? Is the quality and build of the SAN worth the year difference?

Thanks

ridden alot behind both and been in both alot, but for about the same cost, I would definitely spring on the 21V

21v is an absolute wake machine. It also doesn't feel super crowded like some of the SAN interiors feel. I'd hit up the supra 21v for sure! See if you cant upgrade to the gravity games sacks. It makes the wake perrrrrdy

Ha...I have an '02 SAN, and I definitely wouldn't say that the interior feels "crowded". I guess it depends on how many folks you have on the boat.

I love Nautiques, and think they're the best built boats on the water...BUT...it would be tough to pass up on an '05 Supra vs. an '01 Nauty. Supra makes a nice boat as well, and a well cared for '05 is practically brand new...

We have a 01 SAN. 300 hours on that boat is nothing. But then again you have the option of getting a 2005 supra which probably looks brand new. I think the "crowded" factor is a little played out for the nautiques, but i love my boat and wouldn't trade it for anything (except maybe a new fully loaded 236.

I just bought an 06 21V and I love it. Definitely more room than a 01 SAN.

SAN's wake is prob better, but im sure with enough weight in the 21V you could get by. 21V is also newer so your get more options.

lol so sounds like a toss up in a way? if i want a "brand new" boat or an older boat that is a real comp wake boat.

Chris don't discount the Supra. I have a '04 SAN. I love the boat, but some down sides are sensitivity to weight distribution and smaller interior. As far as the wake shape, people either love it or hate it.

The Supra is very nice with the gravity games package plus some additional lead. The wake is more rampy, but has a nice kicker at the top. The interior is spacious with enormous amount of storage. I might be wrong, but I don't think the '05 came with the automatic wake plate, which can be a bit of a hassle.

If I had to make this decision, I would probably lean toward the Supra. But, with that siad, you need to sit in both, drive both, and ride both.

Cant go wrong either way, but an 05 Supra is a very nice boat, but so is the 01 210.
What boat dealers do you have near you? Are the boats you listed from a dealer or private party?
Do you have a Supra dealer or Nauty dealer near you?
