I use fantastic and a medium scrub brush to get into the poors of the vinyl. You need to follow close behind the scrub brush with a clean towel. Follow up with 3m vinyl protectant.

I have also had good luck using a steam cleaner, like a steam shark or steam mouse and a brisk scrub brush.

We keep our boat outside over the winter. I used a magic eraser on it last weekend while getting it ready for spring. I was shocked at how well it worked. Boat interior looks almost new. I wiped up excess right after using the eraser.

You might also try Oxy Clean in the granular form... Mix it with a bit of water and make a paste. Use a small scrub brush and wipe clean with soft towel... then 303!

Wanted to redo my vinyl, so went to get a price of $2400.00. The owner told me to get some vinyl shampoo, clean and condition what you have then we'll see what you need. Went to local detail supplier and picked up a gallon for $11.00,(Mark V product). Dilute it at 40 to 1, reccomended, or less on the tough dirt. After a couple of hours in the boat i now saved my $2400.00, i only have to replace a strip on the motor cover that is cracking. This stuff is amazing!!! 1993 MC, origional interior, with 1200 hrs.

Scott has it... "magic eraser" and 303. I've never seen anything working better than this combo.

i just found the best solution i believe. Oxyclean with woolite. its for carpet so it shouldnt mess up your stitching. spray it on and scrub it with a STIFF plastic brush. with the stiff bristles you dont have to push on it at all really, and it gets into the lil grooves. then just wipe it off. i used the magic eraser and wasnt impressed really at all. i couldnt get the deep dirt out with it, but the stiff brush and oxy it came right out, and my vynil was nasty and i have never seen vynil so white now!

Kevin, Oxyclean I would stay away from. It does work awsome but after a summer of sun you will see why to stay away from it on vinyl. Now on the other hand the woolite part works great with a touch of very mild dish soap and the magic eraser. Cleans to brand new status. Use a good vinyl conditioner after and keep up on the gerneral cleaning each time out.

Another vote for the magic eraser. Follow the magic eraser up with a clean towel, and then finish it off with some 303. Works great.

Olny bad thing about the Magic Eracer is the $$$. Other than that, it is a great product. But do try the viayl shampoo, at $11.00 per gal. I did my interior and the gallon is still full.

"Scott has it... "magic eraser" and 303. I've never seen anything working better than this combo."... I have. Malco Plastic and Leather Cleaner and then 303. And the Malco cleaner won't hurt the thread that your upholstery is held together with over time like household cleaners can.

Went to auto geek for the 303. Do you get the vinyl cleaner or protectant to follow the magic eraser?
