Ive been searching around for a couple hours now and can't seem to find any answers on this. We run about 3000lbs of ballast on my 2000 supra launch dd, it gets out of the hole ok but youve gotta go almost full throttle and then once it's on plain the pp backs it down to about 3000 or 3100 rpms. I feel like I should get a new prop so you don't have to run the engine so hard to get it on plain, any suggestions?

I have the OJ 14.25 X 14 on our 21V and run about 2,400 at 6,000 feet of elevation. When I purchased the boat it had the stock 13.75 X 17.5(?) and it really struggled. The new prop does much much better and now we have a spare.
