Anyone have this repair and how long did your surgeon keep you off the water?
Upside is it is stronger, downside it is a longer recovery.

I just had regular hamstring allographt... from what I've heard the problem is detachment at the screw and pin locations... so double bundling wouldn't really prevent that I wouldn't think. I'm super happy with mine honestly. I was back light riding at 5 months, full rail and cable at 6.5 months (no kickers), and full boat sets at like 7. I'm 10 months out now and charging as hard as I was before the injury... still swells and hurts a little but its all good.

I'm at 5 months right now, and set to ride next month for the first time. I feel pretty good right now, light jogs feel fine and as long as you keep up with your workouts it is all good. My doc stopped using the dissolving pins, so hopefully the detachment won't be an issue.
The reason I didn't go with the Hamstring is because it takes muscles to get stronger to be able to ride on your newly reconstructed knee. I'm not saying its bad, just not my choice.
