Will, I'll send you an e-mail right now. If anybody else needs ballast, a wakesurfer, drysuit, etc., just let me know.

Hey Guys, I have been out road biking this Spring and on my usual routes I noticed a winch spot. In the summer it is always dried out, but with the flooding its a nice little 2-3ft drop, nothing major, but it could be a lot of fun I think anyways. Here are a couple pics I took with my phone, if anybody wants more info let me know and I could probably google earth and get a street address from a house behind it.

It's kind of a swamp, and might be rocky/shallow at the bottom

LOL, yes I know. They gave me a black one to put on there, but won't look to good with the dark tinted window. Said he's making me a white one, but I'm thinking a chrome one would be sick.

Good question. Last I heard, gas prices projected to be 40% higher than April rates. Gonna get ugly quick. Memorial Day weekend will be telling.

Hey Guys - It's been a while since I've been on the site, but it looks like the same good convos.

I'm thinking of hauling the boat up to the metro this weekend, and keep it up for the week next week. Has anyone been on Medicine this year? Anything I should know/be concerned with?

If you see an old xstar out there, come say 'hi.' If you see me in shallow water as I'm not too familiar with the lake, come say 'hey man, head for deeper waters over there.'

Any help is appreciated.

East side of the lake is typically shallow in the spring.. I'd stay west..

My homie lives on the southeast corner... He's got a 100 ft dock section to get OUT to 3ft of water.. You may see his rig out there - navy 04' X2 on a lift with a tall canopy friendly tower..

Wakeworld'er RawB slips his boat in the southeast corner and rides the lake frequently - he can probably provide better insight. My dude that lives out there is a surfer so we spend most of the time out in the middle surfing when its' blown out. The guy he shares a dock with his an 06' X2 (black) and he rides the lake all the time - he kills it.. Look out for Drew if you're there.

Shawn and Drew (the X2's) live on the lake..

RawB rents a slip. Maybe he'll chime in and lend you some knowledge on that.. I don't think he posts much.

Couple of images that I snagged after all the crazyness went down. (camera was in the car. Plus I was in the water so it wouldn't have done much good.) Josh, Trevor and Justin definitely deserve a pat on the back for their fast reaction.

Thought I'd throw this up and see if any south metro boaters want a decent deal on a complete set-up to keep their boat on the water.

The lift holds my SV23 hull Malibu.

Check out the link and PM me if you know of anyone interested in something like this.

Can anyone help? I am looking to upgrade to and '02 or '03 Super Air Nuatique 210. I've always heard good things about the wake but wanted to get behind one before I purchase. If anyone owns or knows any one with a pre 2007 SAN hull that I can get a pull behind, let me know. Upgraded ballast would be nice but stock would be fine too. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Ryan Taylor has a yellow one and was at Spring Ride with it last weekend. I've seen him on Marion in Lakeville and I know he rides lakes in the north metro as well. Maybe it's someone in his crews - but I think it's Taylors.. Anyways - he's on here. Those guys always have a full boat - what's one more!

Hey Guys -

I'm looking at a property with access to Bass Lake in Plymouth. Is anyone familiar with the lake? How is it for riding?

Hey guys! The yellow Nautique or "Pamela" as she is called is indeed mine. Or I should say it is my families. We keep it down in Mankato at my parents home so that is probably a bit of a ways to give a pull. BUT, looking at your profile it looks like you would be upgrading from a 2001. Basically, it is the same exact hull but a VDrive. So you are definitely going to love it. VERY similar wake but bigger and better! I would highly recommend!

Thanks for the info Ryan. Just sold my boat last weekend...had it listed on onlyinboards.com for 9 days before it sold. The hunt is on for a new one! I'm either going with the SAN or Mastercraft 205V hull.

Jeffrey- From what I remember, Bass was not bad for riding. I'm right across the street on Eagle. I haven't been out there in a couple years, but it's a private lake, and it's not terribly shallow. I've seen people riding out there before, and I've seen a guy set a slalom course out there too. Property like across the street from lake, or back in one of the little lagoons?

Sounds like it gets to 28 feet near the island and is 8-12 throughout most of it.

Wanted to drop this in the MN Riders thread.

To all the MN riders, Erickson Marine is inviting MN riders come and provide feedback as they consider taking on the MB boat line. Great opporunity to see MB up close and personal. I'm planning to check it out and go through an MB for the first time. Being in MN, we haven't seen much of this line here in the state.

There will have an MB B52 Team Wide Body (21') boat on demo, Saturday, 23Jul11. Plan on meeting on the public dock between the two bridges in Prescott, WI (on the St. Croix River by Muddy Waters) anytime around 10am.

Address: 231 N. Broad St., Prescott, Prescott, WI 54021

Anyone know what the river level is there now? is there a lot of debris in the water? I have never been over there, but may want to trailer my Tige over and check this out and hang for the day. Is it decent water for boarding or does it get really crowded? any advice is appreciated

Thanks!
Old     (rourker)      Join Date: Jun 2006       07-23-2011, 5:54 AM Reply
Water is up but has started to come down. There is still debris floating so you have to pay close attention. It could be a mob scene over there with this heat today. Boarding can work in the evening and morning. Not sure on a Saturday.

Are there any good prop shops that someone recommends? Wife wasn't paying attention when she cranked the boat up, hull was resting on the prop when I went down to check things over, slightly bending a blade at the tip.

I had a couple props done at Prop MD in Eden Prairie and thought they did a good job.

This year I sent my prop straight to OJ for repair, mailed it Monday and had it back that Friday, not sure if it's always that fast but I was impressed.

You guys win. I was progressing really well in the beginning of the year. Landing regular 180s and half cab 180s...then I got hurt. Felt like a busted a rib on a spectacular crash, but I think it was just a pulled muscle. That took a long time to heal. Got a mild concussion after that.

So, resorted to wakesurfing and can't give it up. Was gettin' close with shovits last weekend. I'm hoping to get a boat next season and start competing in wakesurf.

BTW, I'll let someone have my wakeboard for a great deal. Decade 139 with XL bindings. Practically mint condition still.

Bummer Bro - never want to see anyone get hurt.. Popped a rib muscle in another sport just like you said - that's brutal. Painful and long recovery..

Get well.. Don't sell the wakeboard, keep it.

Awesome news! I’ve got the boat for the weekend and you’re invited to come out and get a pull behind this sweet machine before the season comes to a close. A brand new 2012 MB 21 Wide Body!

We’ll be doing wakeboard, kneeboard and surfing sessions on Lake Minnetonka or a lake nearby(TBD).

You can also try out a skim or surf style Triple X wakesurfer or an O’Brien Decade wakeboard.

This boat’s gotta go after the event. So, if you’re looking for a sweet deal on an awesome boat, there’s no need to look further.

PM me, or e-mail me at chad@wakeskishop.com, if you want to come out and ride. Let me know if you are just interested in riding or if you are seriously considering purchasing this boat. Also, let me know if you’ll be wakeboarding, kneeboarding or surfing, or a combination of the three and if Saturday or Sunday works best.

We’ll load up the boat and tear up the lake!

Chad,
We're interested in coming out on Saturday. We'll more than likely just take my boat out there, and meet up with you on the lake. I'm very interested in checking out this boat. I nearly drove down there last weekend to test drive it, but decided not to. If you're at Tonka, that's quite a bit closer.

I'd probably like to check out the surf wake quick, and maybe get a hydrofoil run in too.
