Walt and I were having a debate over my old tow rig vs. my new tow rig. He said that my new rig was WAY BETTER then my old one! And that my Caddy looked liked it should be in a circus! What a friend! I felt that they both have differnt up-sides but could not say which was better! (taking away the tow factor, of course for towing, the 3/4 tons blows the caddy away!) I was hoping you guys could decide this argument!

that caddy is sweet! dont listen to walt..if it were the newer esclade that would be a better comparison those things tow amazingly well! that being said your new truck its super tight!! your big timin it with those tony stewarts (20 INCH WHEELS)LOL..man i was rollin 20 inch 36's 3 years ago... both are great looking rigs i like the dodge cause its newer but that is one of the best looking old body style esclades ive seen... you definetly made a great choice upgrading to the dodge im glad everything worked out the way it did for you!!

Personaly I think the wheels on the cadilac look rediculous. Those MTR's on the new rig are great for off hwy travel. I had a 4inch cactus needle threaded through my sidewall with those tires. Althoguh by the looks of things I doubt you will be doing much off road driving. Its a very soft tread get em rotated often.

The Caddy for sure!!!! Looks pimp.
I hate oversized lifted big trucks, the caddy has class!! Sure the truck can pull better but it is over kill, the caddy can pull just fine.

The caddy looks sweet. If it was a newer escalade it would be a better comparison. I would of course take the new rig. To bad its not a chevy though!!! But i guess i can't say much when we are looking to get a new mega cab.
Old     (shutupandboard)      Join Date: Aug 2002       02-17-2006, 9:08 AM Reply
I can't call it! They're both nice. If the caddy had a pink bumper and rims, I'd say caddy for sure!

Look how happy walt looks standing next to the caddy in that last pic!

Dam, If the votes keep going this way I'm going to have to buy Walt a 6-pack of Duff*&%$#! Like I said they both have up sides I guess it's just hard "rid'n in tha hood" in the truck! but what's a brotha to due!

Darrneelll: I heard congrats are in order for you & the wife!

Thanks guys for the kind words.

Yeh, Jeremy good point! Walt does look happy next to the caddy! the caddy is getting some votes and that what I thought would happen.

All pimp humor aside, the dodge for sure.

Of course, I'm biased since I tow My VLX with a silver Dodge Ram too.

It might be closer, if you didn't have those Battlestar Galactica tail lights on the Escalade.

Dodge

The POWER WAGON has got to be the winner. A true 4x4 tow rig. I just wish the power wagon was available for my cummins! More 20's on REAL 4x4's!

The Dodge for show!!!
Remove the black door moldings and emblems off the doors.

I'd take the Dodge for sure. I love the clear cab lights. I agree with Aaron, remove the moldings, but you have to leave the "Power Wagon" emblem. Just so everyone knows that you have the baddest 4x4 on the road.

gotta go with the caddy

There is no boat ramp that Power Wagon can't pull that boat out of, even if you have to use the winch! Caddy has to stick to traditional ramps. GO DODGE!

Jealousy and envy get you no where. Every one likes to hear good things about their rides. That is why we all post pic's of our stuff.

Wow, Jason it's not about my ego! it's about a bet a buddy and I made. Anyone who knows me and has seen me ride knows I have NO EGO!
Hey if you want to deflate my ego come out and ride with me some time. I hear you do things on the roam that most poeple can't do on a wakeboard and you'll see it's all about the lifestlye not the ego. Your welcome anytime bro! As for the bet looks like Walt won so next time out the duffs on me pal!

If Shawn was all about the image or the party he wouldn't be riding with the likes of Me in my old boat.

I'm not a Dodge fan either but I have to admit that the Power Wagon is a tough looking truck.

No match for a Ford of course !

Jason look at my post. It is nice even clean but not pimp. I think pimp would be on 22's with air-ride billet grill and interior some screens etc. I was not trying to talk $h*t. I don't think he needs us to boost his ego. He has a sweet boat and truck and you know this maaan!!!! It's all good Jason we are all just having fun and talking $h*t.
