After reading many, many, posts and getting subscription to learnwake.com I finally am very very close to landing the backroll and riding away. I had been running 75ft of line at 22 miles an hour and just not getting close at all. I would typically over rotate or hard case the landing on the wake and just didn't have much consistently....then I started a run after my buddy had finished riding and found the line at 65 ft and 20 mph. Bingo!! I landed the backroll like 8 times but just couldn't hold on. I was landing in the flats and board would slide right out from under me or I would somewhat over rotate. I am thinking another 5 feet of rope and I will put me less in the flats. I don't know but I can't wait till Thursday when I can hit the water next. I will post a video soon so I can get some feedback. (Talk about out of order progression, I hit a right left W2W jump also.)
