I have a some white transfer on my black rub rail from the trailer guide pads (yeah I came in a bit hot). I'm looking for something to clean them up and maybe remove minor water spots while I'm at it. Any suggestions?

SOS pads and a little water works very well and very cheap. I keep a box of SOS pads in my boat storage unit. That white lettering on my guide pads rubs onto the rubrail very easily...doesn't take much friction for it to heat up and melt on.

I've used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser but it's a lot of work. I've thought about using a 3M Eraser Wheel on a drill.

A little acetone on a rag will take it off easily. Makes it look nice again.

Acetone will do it not doubt. It is also safe to use for roller marks on your gelcoat. Just make sure you DO NOT let it get on your graphics.
