I used to tow my boat with my old 1989 crown victoria with a class 3 hitch. My new to me blazer only has a class 2. Should this be fine for my 20 foot I.O boat. I know a class 3 would be best but I'm 16 and don't wanna get a class 3 if I don't have to.

I would change it out to a class 3 if you tow more then a couple miles.

Ya I tow it not far usually but I plan on taking some trips this year so maybe I'll get me a class 3 or I'll build one into my custom rear steel bumper. I have a steel c channel one right now but it bolts on using stock mounting when I get done with it it will have c channel that wraps around the frame rails and is held on with 4 class 8 bolts on each side. I know a kid in my auto class with a class 3 on his parts blazer maybe I can buy it off him.
