Seeing as how the product itself has been banned, it was only a matter of time until they became illegal on the water.

Uh, I dont think the product has been banned by anyoen except certain waterways. Some manufacturers have chosen to remove their particular kite tubes from the market.

Kite tubes are clearly gods way of ridding the planet of idiots...Pulling tubes itself is dumb enough now it flys high in the air totally uncontrollable by the rider(idiot) gee, what a fun ride! Reminds me of years ago riding one of the parasails/parachute type towables and having my friend take me up then dip me in and jump on the gas rip me out of the water and shoot skyward...it sucked you are at the mercy of the driver(or NOT as the case may be) Now we just barefoot.
