This is turning into quite a big ordeal here. Our new SAN 210 arrived 2 weeks ago, Beautiful boat, love everything about it. But when it was delivered, the mirror bracket for whatever reason was no where to be found inside the boat. I got into contact with the Dealership shortly after and a bracket was ordered. It arrived today, and I've spent half an hour scratching my head at this thing. I've tried to both ways and pretty much anything else I can think of but I can not in anyway get this bracket to slide onto the front of the windshield. Even with the screws all of the way out of it, I feel like I'm going to break something if I press any harder on it. The mirror is the CIPA comp windshield mirror, And as far as I know the bracket only comes in one size. Apparently it was pulled off another 210 so I have no idea why it wouldn't fit. Can someone shed some light on this for me maybe? Upload

I can shed some light for ya. It is the wrong bracket. I helped set up a 210 for the local boat show and had the same thing happen and we just scratched the whole mirror idea for the show. Apparently that is what they send out now.

I don't understand, I can't get a mirror on the tower because the FCT3 sits back too far, How on earth am I supposed to get a mirror then?

The only mirror that I have seen on that tower setup was hanging off the Z5 cargo bimini. It had a really crazy looking arm with a joint in the middle.

Get back in touch with the dealer you bought it from. it is their responsibility for setup, and that means making sure you have the right parts. If They say it is right, trailer it to them and tell them to install it. They should have done it to begin with.

The inability to have a tower mirror was one of the reasons I went with the Titan tower. I am sure there is a fix for this from CC. Good Luck
with your new boat.

any way it can slide on from the end of the windshield instead of the way you are trying to put it on?

Try CIPA MIRRORS They are the best. I had the same issue with my first boat and this website help me solve my problems.

Nick-- If the rubber inserts can be removed, remove them and then slide them in after you have got the main mount over the round top part

It doesn't even go on if the rubber insert is off. I'm starting to worry that there isn't even a mirror that fits on my boat..

This is simple you have the wrong bracket, your dealer will have the correct bracket for you tomorrow, sorry for the confusion.

You should be able to get brackets that screw directly into your windshield frame. The mirror then attaches to these brackets with thumb screws so it is easy to remove.

MC ski boats have used this bracket for years. It is a permanent mount but you will never get a scratched windsheild frame.
