When I cut in hard toeside my rear leg drags in the water slowing me down. I am clearing the wake but it is very distracting. Is it bad body position and how do I correct it. Thanks

A pic would help, but the only thing that comes to mind is maybe you're bending your knees too much. Try standing taller.

Or you are riding too slow. Your board is sinking in the water. The board is not completely planing. Try going a tiny bit faster. See if that helps.

I had the same problem the other day, which we photographed. After seeing the "back foot heavy" thing I know what you mean, I'm definately back foot heavy in this pic. Upload

Now that I think about it, whoever took that pic may have taken it as I was planing off to come back in heelside. I dunno, that may be how I edge and I just don't realize it.

Thats exactly what it is, thanks for the info. It all started when I increased rope length and boat speed I think I thought I had to dig in harder to get across. So do you want both legs equally bent?? at 60/40 weight distribution
