have the ones that came with your board milled down to .8 or or just buy them. it's your choice

get a file and a vice, or a belt sander, or a grinder and grind the ones down you have. you can also find the epoxy/fiberglass ones for cheap. the first 4 years i rode seriously(beyond recreation) i made all my own fins out of big fins. its actually alot of fun to play around with them and experiment. it gives you a real insight to what its like doing R&D work

Can someone post up a link to fiberglass versions that will fit a JStar Empire/Hyperlite 3DS please!

An internet search should offer some suggestions. 0.7" A-wings should also do the trick. There are a lot of these out there from all the folks riding the Hyperlite boards finless. A good route is to talk with local riders (ie Wakeworld, find a 3rd). I was in your same shoes a few years ago and wound up selling my board and buying something that did not need fixing.
