Yeah I have an '87 Nautique 2001 and have a Joystick Roll Cage and it works pretty slick. Super sturdy and the 2.5" tubing is the way to go.

Hey gbphantom, In that pic in your profile, is that the wake behind your 87 ski nautique?? Does it throw a good wake at about 20-21 mph?? Also, are both sides of teh wake clean at this speed?? How much weight is in it.

samson or fct towers are the only ones i've seen that go at all with the old nautiques (2001 series, i dunno about a '73).

my friend has an '83 nautique, awsome wake. the boat is prety narrow tho, so the wake tends to wash out on the sied opposite the rider (as if that side mattered..). the side you carve to has an awsome wake. i think he runs 1300lbs + people

Phat towers are sick to the racks are cut into the tower really easy to get to and it is very sturdy when you are going down the lake but pricey.
