JL w3 or this other sub???

I was just wondering if this other sub would sound better than a W3? And I thought the JL W3 was a stout woofer!

Some friends have said that the JL W3 is the BEST sub ever made.

Because its
#1 Cheep
#2 Needs little power
#3 Needs a small box
#4 Has great ballance between SPL and SQ

I think if you match it uo agains other sub's in thoes catagorys its hard to beat,

However that Boston sub looks like it would smoke that W3. 2 diffrent subs IMO

Grant, i knew this would catch your eye!
I agree with you, they are different applications/subs.
Here is why i chose the Boston sub... I still have the W3 just in case;

Was inexspensive for me.
This sub needs 1/2 cubic ft of air space (this amazes me!)
Power... shouldn't be a problem, I have a PPI480 to push it

I Haven't hooked it up yet but Boston usually has spl and sq. I will keep you updated.
