Cardigan Comp Vest

Anyone wear one of these? I'm looking into getting one but wanted to make sure it's got at least some flotation in it cause when I'm riding and not driving, the driver sucks. Also, I'm a big guy with really broad shoulders so fit wise will that affect me alot?

Also, does anyone know if the 2012 model is cut any different from the 2011 model, cause if they're identical I'll just flip for the old model.

Why can't you teach the driver how to drive?

Sucks is an overstatement, but I have less confidence in the driver getting back to me if I was to be face down knocked out versus me getting back to a rider in a similar circumstance.

I have broad shoulders and the jet pilot a 10 always did great for me, I have no experience with the cardigan.

Whenever I have to use a new driver I always drive a pass and give a few pointers, let them drive a pass, and then let them pull me on a pass.

Jonny, its just a product of inexperience of other drivers, I will always be nervous about anyone other than myself driving the boat since I am the primary driver and enjoy driving very much.

Yeah I always drive too if I'm not riding.

The Cardigan has next to none floatation. All those superthin pullover's are like that. That's why I don't use it anymore and got a Watson comp. It's somewhere in between the Cardigan and CGA vests, floatation-wise.
