I love it when companies battle it out through mag ads. Hurley vs. Lost.

I laughed at this one and love the small print at the bottom of the top ad.

Didn't realize it was so hard to read.
On the left:
Over-priced stretchy boardshorts will not make you a better surfer.

On the right:
They expect you to pay $100 on a single pair of plain looking boardshorts? WTF??
...Lost has a sick collection of performance boardshorts with original art that will get you noticed. With the money you save, your on your way for that surf trip, or to buy that hottie some drinks at the bar. Oh yeah, we got 4-way stretch boardshorts too, and they don't make your @cker">p@cker poke out too.

AWESOME!!!!}

Yeah, I was in Santa Cruz this past week and strolled into one of the board shops and saw those Hurley shorts. The amount of stretch made me wonder how much is too much, or at least how much is enough. Then I saw the price tag...WTF? $100? Are you effing SERIOUS? And it's not even like they make use of some new materials, it's just spandex.
