I was hoping to build a slider or ramp or something to mess around on. Problem is, we don't live on the water. We ride on a river, and I've seen a rail there but it is falling apart. I'd like to build one, but I have no idea how to do it and how I would get it there once it's built. Any suggestions?

Heres a pic of my floating rail. Its anchored in a river. It has 8" steel beams under the barrels to counter balance it and is made of aluminum and PVC pipe. The anchors are approximately 100lbs each and are located on each end. There are trailer winches mounted to the frame to pull the anchors up. I have a trailer built for it to pull it in and out of the water or take it to other locations. Funny thing about this pic is i live in WV and...thats Brandon Thomas hitting it up.

Be creative and you can do it for cheap without having to be a master fabricator. I have a kicker and incline rail that only cost me $105 for everything. I used scrap wood for the incline and old boat parts for the kicker.

Are you wanting to float something or can you drive in some 4x4 posts? Here's a few pics of my new A-Frame that's almost finished!!
