boat starts fine but when i put it in gear it will not throttle up it just stays at idle. any ideas would be appreciated

Have you looked at where the throttle linkage attaches to the carb or throttle body? Will the engine rev when the transmission is in neutral?

Throttle cable is broken or became un-attatched??

it is fuel injected and the throttle cable is fine. Im thinking it could be the throttle position sensor.

Can you rev the engine by hand at the throttle body?
