I currently have an old pair of 06 Shane Ltd clown boots that need to be put out to pasture. I am thinking about picking up some 08 CWB answers on close out, will these boots ride similar in terms of fit & stiffness?

I rode a pair of answers and I ride shanes normally, and I think the answers offer nowhere near the stability of the shanes. They felt like i was wearing a pair of socks

Never ridden the Shanes but like JD said the Answer is a pretty soft boot.

I think the CWB Zues bindings would be closer to the feel of the Shanes

Yeah the Zues would be closer to the shanes but in my opinion the zues are a lot more comfortable and lighter. Everyone that has put on my zues loves them. My cousin had the 06 shanes tried my zues on and went out and bought a pair the next week.

The Answer is a soft boot but offers a lot of support. The boot moves with your upper ankle but keeps a secure hold down. I've not ridden the Shane but it sounds like it has more overall stiffness. I think where the Answer excels is for someone that wants a secure lower foot hold but the ability to move their upper ankle around while having the support of the boot follow it.

Thanks guys, I like the Shanes cause they are pretty soft so I think the Answers will be right up my alley. Ta
