I have a 2005 Sanger v210 that I need to have the upholstery replaced in. I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for this area. I can find plenty online, but I do not know if their quality is good, customer service, pricing, etc. Was hoping somebody could give me some recommendations. Thanks!

Im in search of an upholstery shop in houston too. I have heard good things about mendiolas. Please follow up with who you went with and final pics. If i had the time i would trailer my boat to viper customs in Tennessee. They do some of the nicest work i have ever seen.

Just took the interior apart on Sanger V210 (05) today. Going to recarpet but looking at the upholstery it may be time for that too. Anyone have a recommendation in Ventura County or Los Angeles County? How much should I expect to pay?

The guy at Sanger will do it. Wayne the upholstery guy. It will be factory new. Just have to get it to Fresno.

Actually you don't need to get it to Sanger. They will build you skins and send them to you for a local guy to install, just in case you're not local to Sanger.

Upholstery work is one of the most expensive things in your boat. For a full job I'd guess you will easily be in the $2500-3K range.

I've been quoted $1400 + shipping from Wayne's Upholstery (the guy who does Sanger's upholstery) for my 2005 V-215. And that was for all new skins for the whole boat. That was about 2 years ago though so pricing may have gone up some. You would then either have to install it yourself or pay someone to install them for you.

My point was that if you get the boat to the Sanger factory you can have the same guy who put your interior in originally can redo everything carpet, upholstery all factory new installed.

Is there any boat mfgr that will do that?...Sanger will.

a friend ordered his direct from Sanger and I stripped his old and installed his new. Try Sanger and get a pneumatic stapler.

Guess I should have answered the original question as well...... I have used C & F Upholstery and Auto Trim out in Channelview just off I-10. I had the 4 seat bases that make up the wrap around seating in my V-215 redone by them. It cost me $600 4 years ago, dropped off the seat bases and picked them up a couple weeks later. They did great work but the grey vinyl they used was just a shade darker than the factory vinyl. Most people don't even notice unless I point it out.
