Why do you want to go with the FLY series. It is indeed a lot lighter but it is considered a pretty gimmicky product which is why you never see any of the pro riders on them. Unless you are intending on trying spins where you really could use the decreased weight, just stick with the normal board. Are you getting the new Watson or Watson Classic? If you watch the Abu Dhabi video, Harley is on the Watson classic (as is Bob Soven) and he has no problem with getting that board around. LF has never really produced a "light" core that has been accepted among the wakeboarding community. They have either been TOO light, too stiff, too flexy, and snap like twigs. This is obviously a new type of core where they have done without most of the balsa wood but I would still be very weary of having wood stringers in my board. The one thing with Liquid Force is that their normal boards are generally on the lighter end in comparison to other companies standard boards. For $700 you could almost get two regular Watson's having one for the rails and one for the boat.
