I currently live in Orlando and will be transfering down to Miami/Kendall area next month. Is there any fresh water lakes to ride? If so where are they located? Looking at the map I really didn't see anything. Thanks for the help.

was in Miami about two years ago, Lived in Kendall. There was a sweet place about twenty minute drive from there, straight north on the US1, I forget what exit......but check out any wakeboarding magazine at the back and look for maimi wakeboard school in the avertisment section to get their number (check out some old mags if there is no ads in the newbies)......they had a nautique, huge wake.... and awsome water....was 40 bucks for half an hour set......good coach....guys names are earl and Johny.....Place was actually a private house right on the water front.......say hi to the crew for us, if still} there .......hope you find it !

Thanks for the help. Andrew, how flat does the Bay get? Is Indian Creek fresh water. I guess you don't worry about putting your boat in salt water?

the name does sound decieving but its still salt and it gets glassy during th summer and the bay is just a little choopy in the summer, right now the open bay gets extemely rough.
