For those of you who've been following I've made a little more progress... I couldn't come up with the cheese to buy the FRP this week but in two weeks I'm buying the sheets and will hit it for the first time.

I've capped the top and gotten some paint on it...next shots will be action ;) I stood in the picture to give you some idea of how big she is.

We were so close to building one of those this year (pretty much the same design), thanks for making us feel even worse for slacking! That kicker is absolutely insane, I can see some gnarly tricks and falls being done off of that beast. Definitely show those pics of you guys hitting that kicker

I'm pretty stoked...I'll get action shots up after Oct 19th when we hit it for the first time.

CZimmerman - ur profile pic looks like a power wheelie on the interstate with out any rash gear? Clutch that sh*t up and keep it slow and smart...

Luker,

you going to put and kick in that kicker or leave it launch style?

Prolly leaving it launch style...We'll see how much boot it has and decide whether to modify it or not.

Luker,

Cool man! I built on very similar to that and my only warming is without a bit of kick to it, it's very easy to get a ton of slack in the rope which results in the rope getting ripped out of your hand. We add some lip/kick to it problem solved.

So awesome, I've been looking around for a crappy pontoon boat to take off someones hands to do the same thing.

Just wondering but did you have to buy the pontoon boat, or was someone just getting rid of it and you took it for them? Asking because I'm looking around and only seeing ones for sale that are in okay condition, I havn't seen any beaters that someone would just give me for free.

I saw an old school pedal boat in an old lady's yard covered in mildew and she gave it to me ;) I scrapped it down to the pontoons....check out the original threads:

It's on Lake Oconee in GA. It could possibly make an appearance on Martin next year though. We may be postponing finishing and hitting it this weekend...I think have an opportunity to hit up Gravity Research in Macon instead. Regardless I throw some pics up of whatever goes down Sunday night.
