We've been down here in So. Il. Went about 3 weeks ago (~80 air, 55 water), then had to re-winterize because of the temps at night! Looks like this weekend we'll be back out.

I would love to, but the Mississippi river temp is only 48 here in Keokuk. NOT that brave, but I'm ready to go when it gets a little warmer.

I'm in Iowa and I went skiing yesterday (with a dry suit).

Some of my buddies were out there with just a no-sleeve barefoot suit though and they didn't die.

The water was probably around the 50 mark.

I have been out on the Chain-O-Lakes twice allready. 3 weeks ago and again last Sunday. Drysuit and closed toe boots make all the difference.

I've been out several times on the Mississippi water has ranged from 44 to 49. No dry suit, but I have a full wetsuit, closed toe boots, and bought a pair of gloves this March.

Rode the Illinois river two days ago in just a ls top and trunks. Not too cold.

There was another boat of guys just trunking it, and a third boat of skiers in full-suits. We were the only three boats getting in the water.
