I've seen some 05 V215s for that price. The 06's are just around the corner and they are gonna need to make room. Last I checked the dealer in Norcal was making deals for around 38,000 brand new, but not out the door- you know tax, license, dealer prep etc. Better wake IMO than a V210.

"Better wake IMO than a V210"
Really? Better how, bigger? Better shape?
Have you ridden a weighted up V210?

Not doubting just curious

These guys are all dead on.... I love my X-2, but I loved my Sanger before that. The V210 wake is hard to beat, but IMO the SAN, X2/XStar, and VLX all have killer wakes, too. The only difference is the Sanger you could easily get brand new. This time of year you could get a loaded up V210 and have enough money left over to buy a few new boards, racks, bimini, a killer stereo and still put 5k in your pocket.

wow thanks a lot for all the feed back I have a lot too think about. I really like the XStar. What boat do u think would have a better wake the 01/02 XStar or the 05 San.
Old     (innov8)      Join Date: May 2005       09-19-2005, 2:50 PM Reply
01/02 x-star IMO has the better wake, and its a mastercraft.
Old     (wakeriderixi)      Join Date: Jan 2004       09-19-2005, 3:04 PM Reply
You can't compare a Mastercraft of any kind with a Super Air.... There just happens to be more Mastercraft supporters posting. Super Air supporters don't feel the need to comment. If more people had them the rollers in the lake would be too big. Shhhhh... SAN!!

Uh, oh.... That's a tough question. I think you would have to ride behind both to tell which you prefer. I personally like the wake of the X1/X2, but I also like the fact that you don't have to run as much weight in the SAN to get a wake of the same caliber. The SAN wake has a little more kick, but very little transition to land on.

whats better the Xstar or sanger

"You can't compare a Mastercraft of any kind with a Super Air"

Yeah we can, and we do.

I like the SAN wake and I could have bought one, but the wake isn't my first choice. I know poeple that love them, and people that hate them. But I've never heard anyone say they hate the X2/X1/old xstar wake.

The SAN has probably the biggest, steepest wake. But as Evan pointed out, there isn't much to land on. You should ride one more than once if you are considering buying a SAN.

what do yall think is better the Xstar or the sanger?
Old     (dakid)      Join Date: Feb 2001       09-19-2005, 4:18 PM Reply
there's really no "better" between the 2. the wakes are awesome on both. the interior in a sanger is bigger. it basically boils down to what you prefer; a used mastercraft or a new sanger.

If you are willing to spend 39,000 deffiantley go for the 2006 mastercraft X-1, I think it would be the best for your money

Good luck finding an X-1 for $39000. It seems to be somewhat of a fantom price. I haven't done too much on the research on a boat that's not out yet, but from what I've seen and found out $39000 is going to be hard. It's not really out yet, so don't go frying me on this one you die hard Mastercraft owners. At that price it will be stripped down. And will it have a trailer? I'm asking anyone who might know that answer. I would love to see a true MC at that price, I'd consider getting one!!

Does anyone have any info from a dealer on the price and options for that price? And how much are options? Depending on the price, it almost sounds like a better deal to get a used 2004 X-2 for about the same price with all the options. It won't come with a warranty which is great thing to have.

Just food for thought....

Ever think about a Malibu Vride?? To me this model has a lot to offer for the $... Just a thought, good luck!

Ya the 06 x-1 for 39,000 is with no options that is the base price if iam not mistaken witch iam almost positive that is the case, I think to get one loaded out its about the same as an 05 x-2 witch sold for about 50,000.

Is the '06 X1 what's gonna compare to the Malibu I/V-ride, or the Tigé Switch Series?

I'm a whore, I can't offer any kind of opinion in this thread. The best boat is the one I'm behind; whoever's it might be.
