Faction vs Zeus

Which in your opinion is better the 07 Factions or the 06 Zeuses?

They are both really good and cumfy, but I would have to give the edge to the 06 Zeus because I like a stiffer binding.

I asked the same question and was told by the sales guy that the Factions gave you a little more freedom to move than the Zeus. ---This could be wrong-- if you like a stiff back binding than the Zeus is better, if you like to move around then the Faction is better. I have the Faction's and couldn't be happier.

How about the 07 Zeus? Is it more or less stiff than the 07 Faction? Is the 07' Zeus more or less stiff than the 06 Zeus? Currently riding 05' LF Teams and they are extremely stiff. Looking for something with more ankle flex to reduce knee stress.

The factions are less stiff than the Zeus's period. Now, the stiffness compared in the Zeus years, I can not comment on that because I do not know. However, if you want a flexible binding (that will lock down your heals), then the faction are the binding you want but go try them on. I am a 10.5 size foot wearing a 11/12 (large) Faction binding.

The 06 Zeus and 07 Zeus feel the same to me when it comes to ankle support/Stiffness, but the 07's are more cumfy/better fit due to the articulated toe.
The Zeus is Cdubs top of the line binding along with the Fuse and they are both pretty stiff.
Factions have great heel hold and great support, but just not as stiff and does not go up as high on your ankle as the Zeus or Fuse.

I have 07 factions and they are awesome, but it looks like the Zeus go higher up on your ankle for more support.

If you have strong ankles, the factions will be just fine. I have some friends that just don't like my factions because they either broke their ankle or twisted their ankle at one time or another and now need the support.

I love my factions! I demoed the Zeus but hated them. I did not even ride for 5 min. and decided they were not for me. I hated the lacing system on them (07) and they were simply too tight and uncomfortable compared to the same sized Faction. Plus the faction is SO much easier to get in and out of. Just my $.02
