Hey guys, never thought I'd be writing such a newb post "which skate to get." I've skated a couple times per year since wakeskating started but would probably still call myself a newb, maybe low intermediate due to just not doing it much. I can go HS wake to wake, ollie, maybe an ollie 180 on a good day. I'm 40ish, 5'8" and about 200lbs/stocky. Probably more interested in wake to wake, as I'm never gonna be able to do more then a shuvit probably. Was riding one of the original Cassettes all this time, but now it's cracked. Don't wanna sound like an arse, but money not really an issue, if it matters.

Oh, and obviously the best idea is to always demo if possible. I know.

if you are a wake to wake guy and never want to buy a skate again you should check out the 2010 Integrity TNT 39.39". It is super quick onto edge and a great wake to wake board. The 41" team would also be good but it might be a bit long at your height. they are definitely the best boards on the market

I am also a newb. I have a Mutiny and a Hyperlite vinyl. I rod the new Integrity team deck and loved it. I only ride around and do surface stuff no jumping. I loved the team deck and going to order one. I am 6'5" and 245 lbs. It is locked in like a wakeboard and cuts great.
