Dude when it comes to sliders in norcal there's no question about it; Al Marchiniak is off the hook! And he was out at TSR last weekend! Man I wish I could have gotten his autograph.

For the ladies, I've gotta throw in Shelby Kantar. She puts the boys to shame.

wakeboarders:
Jacob Locken, Justin Fisher, Shelby Kantar, Raequel Hoffman, Jared B., Kaesen S.

wakeskaters:
Jamie Eddy, James Evans, Grant Roberts, Mike Kozacek, Mitch Lemos, Chris O, Keaton Bowlby, Brian and Biscut from (Disco bay)

There are probably a lot more but those are the people I've heard of, seen, or know in person.

Dropping hammers is a new term for saying the name of a trick when you don't know the name. Jk I don't know but alot of people in florida say it i noticed whatever it means

Al you know your my favorite rider...hell that is all you do, go to TSR, go to OWC, and build rails. Do like your father did and get a job.

"drops hammers y'erd"

I will break it down:

A hammer roughly translates into a manuever done successfully with the utmost style and difficulty.

y'erd is a shortened version of you heard which is usually used in the form of a question, implying that the idea of an individual not knowing the subject matter mentioned is absurd. This statement usually puts more emphasis on the statement preceding it.

I first heard the word hammer used in announcing a contest and it was funny cuz 6 of the 10 tricks a rider did they called them hammers instead of giving the name of a trick. lol. "Another hammer, wooah he dropped a hammer, another hammer omg he's dropping hammers left and right" I dunno but it sounds better to me to name the trick.

I thought this was a thread about rail riders...man, wakeboarders get distracted pretty easy. This thread might need to die or be put into another category.
