So, is the water at TSR cold?

So, are people wearing just boardshorts now, or is it to cold? I've never been this early in the year and was wondering what people wear when it's cold. So, what's the water temp at TSR nowadays?

It's chilly, but trunk-able. I rode there on Jan 2nd last year and just wore boardshorts. A little cold, but not bad at all especially if it's a warm day.

I was there on Friday and I had a full 4/3 on, the sun was out and I was more than comfortable.

Id say that if the sun is out and it is up in the low 80's like it has been the past few days then you will be fine in trunks. I just went to the lake on Sunday close to TSR and a girl on my boat skined it and took about an hour long surf set. Ha I was in a heater top for sure though, she is just from Montana.
