3DS 06 vs 07 - bindings

can anyone comment on the differences?

the difference aren't noticeable. The '07 3ds have a full lycra sock. The '06 have that snake skin looking material on the inside of the heel and toe rubber. And the color ways differ.

I had the 06s and now the 07s, just get the cheaper ones. Black vs black and white is not worth 100 bucks

awesome, thanks for the advice. thats what i was thinking, just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing something.

I had '06s and got them warrantied for 07s. The 07s are not as comfortable b/c they switched out some of the material inside the boot, but the 07s appear to me to be more durable when it comes to construction. Hyperlite did have a lot of 06s breaking, IMO you won't have a warranty with 06s and if they bust you'll be SOL. I busted 2 pairs of 06s. All that being said, it's a tough call.

I thought Hyperlite warrantied all their bindings one year from purchase date, regardless of what year's version they are. Although, you'd most likely get any '06 bindings replaced with '07 or '08
