Mike yep thats some old school footage. I would say back in 97 it was filmed. Hard to think we rode with no weight or towers back then. Plus I think our handles were like 12 in with a big braided section in front of the main line. Kinda miss the days when I was the only one on the lake.

kinda off topic....but i beleive Jesus was the first wakeboarder, he wasn't really walking on water he was riding behind it on some sort of makeshift wakeboard

If you're new to the sport I would buy Mayday, Hit it, Spray, and Retrospect. You should see how creative people were, when limited with small wakes.

I don't get pull, but the VW footage was from like 95-96. It was on HIT IT, and I think HIT It came out in 96.
