Reason why it should be in Texas..
1. Its warm in Texas
2. 3 rivers and 8 different lakes to choose from in the Austin area...
3. Its the Live Music capital of the world
4. College Girls
5. College Guys
6. Texas Ski Ranch (www.texasskiranch.com)
7. College Girls
8. Austin area is the 2nd largest market for wakeboarding (Florida is #1)
9. Goooood food - San Antonio isnt the fatest city in the nation for nothing
10. I don't have to fly to california and visit the relatives :-)

Renee - From Sac to Austin is only a 24hr commute. No problem at all. And you really should show the family the new child after all :-)

Seriously though, Wouldnt it be nifty to get some Factory involement with the event?

If you make it late in the year (Aug/Sept) then perhaps they may even be able to bring a 06 model and show it off?

Chris,

Thats My goal is to get them on board and some of the vendors that they use for equipment on board. I don't know how sucessful I will be but I am giving it a shot. Lucky for me I have Delt with Scott P. in the past for my boat and I will be seeing him this weekend at the boat show. Thats when I want to get some more help in seeing how much can be done to make it a great Sanger regatta. What would be nice is if We could get a factory (pro flight/Sanger) rider to show up for the day.

Gary,

I know it iss not close to the factory, but
another lake you may want to think about is Rollins Res. Just off of 80, easy to find and lots of camping available on both sides of the lake. The concession people on the Placer County side have had group get-togethers there before.

I actualy go there alot and love that lake. i did have it on the list and took it off due to the distance. They do have a awsome group site. Same with Hogan.

I'm for Melones and Pedro, kinda neutral in distance for everyone, I dont think I'm up to tow my baby to Shasta (thats a long freakin trip from Sac!!)

i talked to scott, and the sanger regatta is going to be at another lake entirely with a very large parking lot. He said there were too many people who remained on shore.
i believe in modesto. it was not a lake i have been to.

Is it going to be like a boat show or 'look at the sangers' event? I wouldnt mind going out to check it out, but if I do, I want to ride, not just watch from the shoreline.

Awesome to see the international side of the Sanger Family.

Anyway, according to Yahoo, it is right at 190 miles one way from my place. Researching the lake, it has plenty of picnicing and day use area, but no overnight camping is allowed, which means we would have to do a 380 mile day for this event.
Sorry guys, don't think we are going to make it.

You guys that do, take lots of pics...

Just to let ya know Army, I have not yet toalked to Scott about what I am trying to put together. I want to at the show. If there is already a regatta at lake merced, then I will be putting together another. Merced is not to far for me but I am looing to get something for the owners to gather and play in there boats. Lets see what happens. I still want to hear what Sxott has in the works.

I privately imported Sanger. There is no dealer in Japan. The price of the ski boat is very high.
(Tige or Supra or Mastecraft)Sangar is half a price and the same performance.

The aftercare of Sangar is great.I obtained the MDC unit in one week last year.I wish to express my gratitude for Sanger And Scott Pellaton.

I went to the LA boat show, and looked at some sangers for the first time...I have to say I was blown away. I'm from Dallas and go to college out here in LA, this was my first encounter w/ Sanger. I have now decided I will get one. My girlfriend, who doesn't know much about boats, picked the Sanger V215 as her favorite boat at the show.

Good choice Daniel!! Your girlfriend (and her boobs) will appreciate the nice smooth ride. You will truly love it.

Congratulations!

Daniel, Talk to Cliff Mcinnis down at the Houston Watersports Complex. He is a straight up Sanger Dealer and a nice guy. He has been working his butt off to help get me into a Sanger.

Maybe I should have clarified...I won't be buying a boat for a while, I'm still in college. I am, however looking at older ski boats right now...

I wish you guys TALKING about Sanger would start a new thread. This is a photo thread, and starting to take a while to download every day just to red 2-3 text messages at the end, lol. (which I want to read)

Does everyone know about the Boat Review section of Wakeworld? I guess it's relatively new Since only six people have reviewed them. It allows us owners to rate how we like our boats. Click on the link below to rate your Sanger. Unfortunately, they only have the V210, V215 & V230's to rate.

Anyone interested in some Sanger board racks? I posed a thread in the Classified section, but I don't know how often people go there. Click here to see pics.

It is a 99 V210, and the tower is made by lightning accessories and it is probaly one of the nicest towers I've since.
