I've seen a thread on here with photos. They installed 6" at the back of the cutout facing forward and in. You could still use the cupholders.

It might have been a year ago but I'm not sure at all.

It was a while back and I started it but never found a solution that I liked and ultimately decided to have a spot on my boat that you could sort of get away from the music. The only thing that I was somewhat interested in was I believe something Brian had done which was build some small pods that fit up back behind the cup holders. I believe the speaker size used was 5 1/4" and with it's location I can't imagine the reward was worth the work or money.

Another guy had put them in the walk through area which again was a solution I just didn't like.

I came to the conclusion that the best bet is using one of the cup holders and a 5 1/4" coaxial.
