1999 Correct Craft Super Air Nautique 210
GT-40
600 hours
Rear ballast tanks
Cover
16,900

Spoke with the dealer, doesn't come with a trailer, he can add a single axle for 2K, so we're looking at an asking price of 18900. Boat was priced at 22900/no trailer about 2 weeks ago, but they dropped the price. What else do I need to look for? Hasn't replied back yet, but I've asked if it has been in salt. Not sure if it has PP or not.

That seems like a really good deal if you can get that for under 20k.

If they just dropped it 4k might as well try and get a 2x trailer for 19k...or just throw out 18k for 1x trailer and everything.... i would imagine they'll bite

Otherwise....great deal

Pretty sure there isn't a PP on it just from looking at pics of the dash. But, that's an easy add.

Pretty clean, but is the cushion missing that goes right behind the drivers seat or is it hidden? Looks like a deal to me. I think all dealers will be happy to just move some boats and gain a customer right now so the price drop should not scare you.

If there is nothing wrong mechanically that is a good deal. I think the 99 models look better than the 00-01. A guy on my local lake has a 98 Pro Air with the same colors. Looks great on the water.

As Nick said see what they can do on the tandem trailer, especially if you tow a decent distance. You'll be much happer pulling the tandem trailer.

That's odd. Seems like the tower is from a 2000. Hull stripes look to be 99,but the Air graphics are newer. Didn't the 99 have a pylon in the center of the floor? I thought they went to that short pylon in front of the engine hatch in 2000.Then again, the 2000 had the big "N" down the side.Must be a 99-1/2 !!Make sure the dealer does a compression and leak down test(pay for it if you have to) to make sure the engine is tight.
Overall it looks pretty decent. The newer style tower is a bonus,IMO

There was an option to have that center pylon left out. My cousin has a '99 with the same setup. This was probably a super sport sold late in the season that had the '00 tower put on.

Put in for a tandem trailer. All they can do is say no. In that case, there's nothing wrong with a brand new s/a.

Justin,
That's what I was thinking. Super Sport.Probably not much difference in value from an Air of that era.

That boat is in our stable. My buddy Jeff has the 96. Its a Super sport for sure. Steering it fully loaded is kind-of a pain but it's worth it. We slam it with about 3500 and the wake is monster and insanely hard! Throws a pretty nasty tail though. Here is a pic of the wake:

It's really really hard not to pull the trigger right now....I'm letting it settle and may look for something a little closer than 1800 miles away.

Do it. Boat looks like it could use a good scrub down but the vinyls dont look terrible and it's going to look great with some elbow grease.

GT-40 is a fantastic engine but do the compression test! PP is easy enough to add and it has a cover, tower lights, board rack, and billet throttle knob!! haha

Add a few sacs and you will have the same boat as say an 2005 210 for half the price.

Our 95 wake with 1500lbs. -- lots in the bow make it rampy, lots in the rear make it steep, but still clean
our steering was terrible too, new cable fixed it right up
+1 for the rooster tail.

+2 on the rooster. I wonder what it is about the SS. The two SANs I ride behind dont have nearly as big of a roost.

Looks like a great deal on 'paper' / internet. Sometimes reality is a bit different than what you see in pics and hear from a dealer, but dang it sure would be worth checking out for someone. Tis a good time to buy if you have cash.

Considering my guy just backed out I need someone to hook me up with one of these.

This was one of the best boats (out of 13) that I have owned. LOVED IT. If it checked out with your mechanic, it seems like a fair price. I can't remember if my 99 had perfect pass so that's worth adding. The stock ballast isn't worth anything but put 500 upfront, 500 in each rear, and 200 in the walkway (or so to reduce the peak) and it's nice!
