What's worse, trying to get pumped during the winter and flaunting your well earned rewards or picking on Justin because he rides better than you?

M-Dizzle (liquidmx), Yes, he probably is better than me. I don't care. Well put out there his first line "Yes, they are all mine", the hidden context is "I just want everyone to know I am sponsored". If the kid came out and started a topic "hey I just want everyone to know I'm sponsored" he'd get ripped to shreds. I feel this is his way of trying to be discreet and still establish the fact and bring attention to himself in a boastful way.

I do not know who you are, but that is a lot of boards to ride in a year, and most of them look the same. Why so many?

It's just not cool to flaunt all your gear when there are people out there who can't afford new gear this year because of the economy. People are losing their jobs (hence their boats and equipment) left and right and you are showing off thousands of dollars of product that you earned because you have the privilege to ride on a regular basis. I know you are young, but this is a great opportunity to learn a lesson. Just my opinion.

i think its great that he is sponsored & has the opportunity to get the gear. if its possible, maybe u could donate some of the boards u dont ride any more to friends or other riders in need. i'm almost positive the kid wasn't trying to rub his fortune in our faces. he's a kid. try to do something positive for another rider when ur done with the gear. it'll make u feel even better than stomping that new trick.

Wow, J-Pay you need to build some benches or something. Don't be hating on the man, I'm sure bragging about a board collection was not the intent of his post, it's just not his style, just a kid goofing around. I've known him since he was a little grommit and he's actually very humble and works hard at his craft.

"try to do something positive for another rider when ur done with the gear.." Sorry chuck, i would if they all weren't broken. its not like i get a new board every week and just retire the old one, i get new boards for a purpose, its because the boards are broken i have so many boards}

Are you really sponsored or do you have a buddy who works at a board shop that let you take a pic with all those boards? I'm sure CWB isn't that you are putting up pics of so many boards that you are so easily breaking. I've never heard of someone breaking that many boards in 1 season, unless your name is Keith Lyman

Yes i am sponsored, i get one board at the beginning of the season like everyone else, i break it, going big and landing hard in the flats, then i send it in through the factory warranty program and get a new one in like a week.... "I've never heard of someone breaking that many boards in 1 season, unless your name is Keith Lyman"- well riding as much as i do, it happens.

"well the only ones that are not broken are the ones with bindings, which i currently ride" Is it just me or does the plat Marius (white one, middle board, front row) still look wrapped to anyone? Maybe I'm wrong, but the banding straps and cardboard appear to be still on the board.

Sweet video! My vote- build 7 benches, get some CWB pros to sign the boards, donate them to Dave and have him auction them off for charity.

I didn't know you were sponsored. Congrats! That answers my question as to why so many boards. With the ones that you do not ride, make a bench out of them and use a support brace on where the board is broken. Put them up at the lake or beach or something. Cheap furniture!

I was wondering if they were all "broken" have to admit, the picture and minimal discription left it wide open for public interpretation props though, especially now that the whole story is there. i remember a thread not long ago of people who cant manage to get rid of broken boards 'cause each tells a story. looks like there is a novel there and sorry if the comment about your profile pic was on the edge of "hatin," i personally made the comment 'cause i thought it was a little funny/ironic that there was a LF board in the pic, especially with Joe U. comment about LF gear. just one of my rare occasions when i joke around ;) i like the new pic by the way ;) (not that i didn't like the other) (Message edited by wakerider111 on March 14, 2009)

So, is there a common weak point on some of the broken boards? Just curious. I think the new tree graphic is pretty sick.

Justin, I went back and read my post today and realized I was a bit harsh. I apologize. I don't even know you. I'm sure you're a great kid who's just enthusiastic about your sport. It's just that I have seen some young adults in my life (including myself when I was 15) who take for granted what they have and don't realize how truly lucky they are. Just keep in mind, especially if you go pro and become a role model to the younger generation, most people out there aren't as fortunate. No harm intended. Again, I apologize. Ride on! Peace!

I think that is a really cool pic...broken boards or not. I'm a broke college kid that can't afford new boards all the time, and I bust my but working part time for low pay so I can pay for the boat's gas and ride on the weekends. I support Justin on this one. If I had that many boards in a row, I would take a picture of them too. Heck, as soon as I bought my 08 absolute, I took a pic of it next to my 06 absolute and thought it was awesome that I had two boards side by side. I worked hard, earned money, and bought myself a new wakeboard. In this case, Justin apparently worked hard, got sponsored, gets new boards and makes a little money. Just because he has a higher quantity of boards and is sponsored doesn't mean he isn't appreciative of what he has done to earn those boards. To me, its a cool way to show off your hard work. Nice pic bro

Impressive video for sure but if you're breaking that many boards, that doesen't say much for the company building the boards. Not like you're going "Randall" or "Parks" big. I call bull. Them ain't all broken...

sorry i couldnt be around much to answer questions the last couple days, i have been busy at the boat show. Darren, im actually 6' 4", which is quite tall to be a wakeboarder and Austin, the different shades are from the sun, when im done riding i usually just throw my board in the sun and it fades over time, and depending how long i rode that board depends on how much it faded

hahah Justin im with the guy who said cwb might not be happy you are posting all the broken board pub for sure.. however i can squash this i bought one Cwb platty absolute 5 years ago and broke one ever year for four years straight,so i got four boards for $350 over that time and ride anew one everyyear that i get for free within a week under warranty plan,then i switched to the 138 transcend platinum i picked up at the boat show as a demo ride ridden twice for $160 i broke it in 8 months got a new one and broke it again and now have a new 2009 transcend platty sitting here for this years ride. Im 39 have a handful of inverts,no style ,and dont go very big and im not sponsored but really dont have much more invested then you as sponsored rider and have broken almost as many boards i hope you feel real proud now or maybe im better then i thought
