I bent the prop this weekend so it seems like a good excuse to upgrade. I think it has a 4 blade 14X20. I was thinking about the OJ 13.5X16 or the 13.25X15.5. Any opinions? I usually run about 1200lbs of ballast with just me and my wife. It has the 5.7L in it. We rarely cruise above 30 MPH. Thanks

I would go with the oj 13.5x16. I have heard some people have had slipping problems with the 13.25x15.5.

Good luck

Heath,

I would suggest our part# 466, 14.25 X 14 LC 1 1/8" XMP EDGE 4-blade for your application. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Heath,
I've been testing the OJ 13.75 x 17 and the OJ 14.25 x 14 XMP EDGE. I am also coming out of a similar prop as you.
The 17 pitch performed a lot better than our current prop and we are really pleased with it. It's a good mix b/w what we have and what the EDGE offers. This prop would perfom flawlessy for about 90% of our trips on the water. The last 10% being REALLY loaded down with people and ballast. We have yet to try at wakesurfing load and speed.
The EDGE is pretty much a beast and is great for wakeboarding and wakesurfing. With 5 people, full fuel, and about ~1800lbs of ballast the boat was out of the hole and up to speed in no time. This prop would perform flawlessy for 100% of our trips out, but you can expect a few hundred additional RPM at wakeboarding speed when compared to the 17 pitch.

Both props are CNC and silky smooth up to WOT. Now...if I can only find a way to keep them both...

I'd suggest you give Eric a call and talk with him.

Paul
