Epic.

If you guys haven't seen "Restrepo" yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a documentary about an American Army Plantoon that infiltrate what is now known as one of the deadliest valley's in Afghanistan.

These kids are a hardcore bunch. There are many sad moments in the movie. When they lose their friends you feel for them. I was impressed by how tasteful the movie was, no political agenda, just footage of an Army Platoon kicking ass in Afghanistan. The interviews they do after the deployment are sad as well, some of them show no real emotion, and another troop says he hates to sleep due to nightmares.

It really makes you see what's important in life. I'm so sick of Hollywood, and their retarded reality shows. These guys are the real celebrities, and should be treated as such.

Shoo-in for best documentary of 2010. 97% favorable rating on rottentomatoes.com

Out on Redbox now.

Trailer.

I just realized one of the guys in Restrepo was awarded the Medal of Honor. After reading the below article, it appears there was MUCH more heroic action than what was caught on camera. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joshua_Brennan

What an amazing show! Very proud that we have "kids" that have been forced to become men serving our country. All of these guys looks so young, it just makes me feel sorry for what these guys face once they return to the U.S. I appreciate their service and other guy's service to protect our freedoms!

Our military is the best in the world.

With XMAS lists forming, consider asking your friends to pay a little back in your name...
