i love neon colors- i always did - but less is more, at least on a board. Every binding suits to every board and thats sooo important and Ronix seems to be the only brand with that view . Best brand hey ?! :P

You're totally right, I read a long article on how most of the top pro's account their skills to the matching gear they have. Hopefully soon they'll have matching vests, shorts, and handles... if I don't look good on the water I don't want to be out there.

Anyone else notice that the Kia/Mana line is now under Dean Smiths name and not Erringtons? Hmmm. Interesting.
Looks like thats the only pro model board that got any changes other then graphics. Can't wait to see it in person and hopefully jump on it for a demo. I was a fan of the Mana the few times I rode it. I think the page with all the info on construction and techniques is very interesting. Good to see in depth stuff on how a board is made and the thought and technology that goes into it. FEED ME MORE 2010!

Sorry guys, but the link to the Ronix brochure has been removed at the request of Paul O'Brien at Ronix. Since that brochure and the photos within are their copyrighted property, they have every right to determine who gets to look at it and when.
Paul said that the new brochures and images will be public info after Expo, which starts next Thursday.

I am stoked on what I saw. Park's new shaped looked so good and those reflected boots were way sick. The Viva had probably the best looking grafik on a board I have seen in the last couple years. The One looked dope as always, and the boots were tight too.

I just think it's kind of messed up that everyone is going to those lengths just to see a few wakeboards that very clearly aren't meant to be seen by the public yet.Ronix has obviously put a ton of time and energy into the 2010 line and they should ultimately have the control over who sees it and when; just because it's out there doesn't mean that we're all entitled to see it.
I have a feeling that Ronix has a very specific marketing timeline that they follow and I just think it shows a lot of disrespect for a few individuals who got their hands on a catalog to take it upon themselves to turn it loose on everyone.
I know everyone wants to bro down and tell everyone how many "industry secrets" they know, but ultimately, it should be up to the manufacturer when and where and how information like that gets released.

I think it also is meaningful and shows Ronix how much people love their products when people go to the same lengths and are excited about seeing the new products.
Id rather have a company where i had to work hard to protect images of my new line, than have one where i could "leak" the new stuff early and still no-one care.

Those shoes are pretty much exactly what the binding looks like haha.
I still dont see how its completely "messed up" to look at the new Ronix line. I know they've worked hard to keep it secret but its not like we're bashing them on their product, in fact im sure its the only line I was stoked on seeing. Their product always seems to be the coolest in the publics eyes and mine as well! Also its only a week early and its not like every single person at the expo wont in awe over the Ronix line because they already saw a few pictures on wakeworld.

I also noticed the lack of "DARKCORE" boards. Demand, Economy? curious if and why they dropped them. stoked with mine just wished they made a bigger CSV2. Kinda funny how the one/one and viva/cell swap colors every year. white, black, white , black?????

Dont know any truth to this doug, but the Ronix rep i spoke with said they were experimenting with how colors affected the sales. They said Harfs first two years sales were much higher than Sharpes. Those two years Danny had white boards, while Chad's were black both years.
So he said last year they wanted to switch it up and make the Chad's Covin now Viva white, while making Danny's black and see how that affected their sales numbers. Im sure their names played a big role in sales figures, but graphically i think they took a step backwards switching the colors up.
Dont know how accurate this information is, thats just what the Ronix rep at one of our boat shows told me.
The Red/Black One is sick though! To bad the Viva doesnt look that great, i like the speed of it better than I do on the one.

I think that maybe the catalogue was leaked on purpose. It goes up for two hours or so, some people see it, then the link is pulled. Now, because this is WW, the people who saw it during that window are likely to talk about it, I did. This builds the hype for the full release at expo because it is getting so much more talk on WW and what does Ronix have to loose? A hundred or so people got a sneak peek at their product. It sounds like perfect marketing to me. It builds up your pre-release hype and costs you nothing. Even if people wanted to get on them for that type of marketing, they can always deny that they had anything to do with it. Didn't this exact same thing happen last year?
