I am looking for some creative pics of battery installs. In particular I have seen some people mount their batteries under the passenger seat instead of inside of the big clamshell comparment. I am looking to keep the batteries in the same area, but better space saving....
I have seen pics of someone that mounted their batteries under that seat and then covered them with fiberglass. Anyone remember that thread? I want to say it was on a supra?? Thanks guys

My golfcart batts before I moved them, now I have one on each side in the stock locations and the starting red-top under a dead space. They have covers and look like they were factory installed.

no i havnt got to go by the shop to take pics if it was behind my house i would just go out and snap. if you are taking it to have it done i just pulled that seat out batt. fit just fine under and i drilled through the floor were the batt cables were fished through and cut them down and it is a clean install. if you have the 21v supra you know how much of a pain it is to store things under that seat so it is a perfect place to mount batteries. i will really try and get home from work a little earlier tommorrow and get those pics for ya.

wow, some of those battery installs rock!

I just made mine simple and easy access, but out of the way (under the observer seat). Now, I have no batteries in my cave, which gave me more room.

Diggs, I will have one for you soon. My boat is at the stereo shop now. Shouldn't be too much longer!

Hey Keith, nice set up. What year VLX is that? I have an 05 and I'm not sure the blue tops fit in that spot straight up like that on my boat.

I have an 04. It was actually "the Malibu boardstock boat" for 2004. I love it.

Yah, the blue tops fit under my seat so I basically built a box around it with resign and plexiglass see thru for show.

Are the bluetops shorter than most normal batteries?
