Candlewood Lake, CT info please..........

Candlewood lake locals, need some help!

I want to take the family there next summer for some long weekends. Need a place to launch and a motel/inn, prefer on the water w/dock.
Can't find much info on the net. Give me a list of places to stay and phone numbers. I heard the lake is really nice. How crowded is it on weekends? Any good riding early in morning?
