Is this really gonna happen? If so, does anyone know if these CT boots are any lighter than the LF Shanes?

That is really going to happen, The boots are super light, however being that I have never touched a pair of shanes I have no Idea which is lights.

Yes it is going to happen. The board is done and the boots are coming along. They are still tweaking them to make sure they are the best closed toe boot out there. The boots will be light, but not at the expense of durability.

Nacho,

The dimples are actually holes that go all the way through the liner. It helps them dry out much quicker then the competitions boots. No stinky boots!!

I put my foot in a pair of the prototypes at Expo and all I can say is that they were definitely the most comfortable close-toes I have ever felt...And that was the pre-production pair! I can't wait until they come in.

I actually like the Cartel much much better than the Natural but Obrien definately has stepped it up in the boot arena.

Coda/Cartel or Natural, either way, both great boards, just depends on what you are looking for.
