After going all summer long w/o a working tach I finally got a new one. The old one would kick to about 4K rpm and stick there once in a blue moon, 99.9% of the time it did nothing. Well the new one doesn't work either. I've tested all the wires w/a light meter- it's getting power to the + and "S" wire. I'm stumped. The new tach has a bunch of little switches, they're all in the up position. Any suggestions? 1987 PCM 351 and it's running great. The new tach is on the bottom.
