How does the wake stack up on the X10 & X30. Good or bad?

the 10 has a great wake..not as much "pull" off the top when you load the line but overall fantastic...30 can't comment on but have heard nothing but good!

I ride behind an X-10 sometimes and in my opinion, it is not the greatest of wakes. It is really rampy and wide and needs a TON of weight to get very big. If I was looking for a boat with the best wake, it wouldn't be the X-10.

That being said, the X-10's are really nice boats and the wake will get decent if you get over 2000 lbs. in it like most any other boat. It just wouldn't be my first choice when buying a wakeboarding boat for sure.

The 30 is a tank, i do not suggest either of these mastercraft boats if you are looking for *wake* performance. These boths are great for family outings, surfing, and your day-to-day lake fun. If you want a wake..there are multiple options from MC. Favorites would be x-1, x-2, x-15, and x-star. I'm not too sure ab. the new X-35, but i know the CSX is great as well. Thats my .02.

weighted right my X-30 puts out a huge wake. I've had alot of really good wakeboarders on and they have been very suprised. and the surf wake is perfect

I rode an X-30 that had a GREAT wake. But it had 4000#'s of ballast and 5 people! The wake is really wide also.

ya i second DUBBE my 01 x-30 puts out a massive wake. Granted we run about 3000lbs ballast....its a wide wake but weighted correctly we ride at 80-85 feet. When i rode behind the new style x-30 it was with factory ballast and i was pretty impressed but i have not ridden it weighted. Anyone here ridden behind the CSX yet? i hear people love it with a pretty minimal amount of weight?

Hey Matt, how are you weighting your X-30? I've only had mine really weighted down once in lake powell. I needed alot more bow weight. How much are you running up there? thanks

we usually run the factory ballast which is around 750-800lbs. then on each side in the rear there is a 350lb sac and then a 250lb sac on top of those. then a large sac on the floor of the boat prob around 400 or so. followed by a lounge chair bag in the isleway up near the front that weighs about 500lbs. I also have about 200lbs of lead in the front under the seats to help keep the bow down. We are also running a performance prop to get it out of the whole fast.
