I keep getting slack rope and ending up getting yanked out on landing. Is it me or is it a heavy boat with no perfect pass?

you may be pulling to hard to your back hip to get the scarecrow around...doing so would advance you on the boat, causing slack.

Try this..edge out...make sure the load is already in your back hand.
intiate a straight approach towards the wake with steady lean on the rope/back hand when you approach.
shift weight to your front foot and flatten out up the ramp of the wake..wait...wait for the pop and then roll it over..the line tension will be there and it will help you complete the trick.

Thanks mark that helped alot. landed 3 out of 4 yesterday after trying that. evrything i was doing fine apaprt from the flattening off. flattening off was the key to take the trick straight up instead of back away from the boat. i am still letting go woth my front hand after the pop but i guess thats as habit now which i have to change if i try mobes.
