I taught another girl how to wakeboard this past weekend! It was such a rush when she got up the first time, especially when her brothers and cousins were too scared to even try. And now she's totally addicted. She went 3 more times on Sunday! Woot!

Nicely done Melissa. I get that same rush when a new girl friend gets up on the wakeboard, wakeskate, or surfboard for the first time. That sense of accomplishment seems to mean more to them.

She was so determined! And she fell doing a fist pump, but I think it was worth it to her.

It was the first time I taught anyone else to ride, and the fact that it was a girl is even cooler, since I'm not alone anymore! Then again, if she gets to be better than me, I may not like her anymore...

I got to teach a friend about a month ago, and it took her dang near 20 tried to finally get up....but she was just as determined as I was to get her up that day.....the whole boat erupted when she finally got up and rode for a few minutes, even out of the wake and back in. It was such a great feeling!
Congrats!

The best part is teaching guys how to do things! since everything seems to be a "man's sport". LETS TAKE OVER GIRLS!! =)

I love teaching fellow females new things! Yay girls who rip on wakeboards!! Awesome! So great to hear about other women who support each other in this "men's dominated" sport!!
Keep it up ladies!!
