Man, that's nice. I dig the clean look. What's with the extra wide board rack?
Old     (duckguy)      Join Date: Jul 2006       08-14-2006, 7:11 PM Reply
Its a slalom rack that they put on, its not on anymore. Sure its great to know folks that live on the lake.

Stopped in today to register for the tournament friday, they were diligently cleaning the boat (even though it already looked spotless).

Congrats again!

I like that - I didn't know they offered X2's in that graphics and color scheme for 2006...

Andrew,
it looks like a Maristar 200 with a tower on it. Someone on my lake has an identical boat without the tower
Old     (trainwreck)      Join Date: Jun 2006       08-15-2006, 2:41 PM Reply
Is that an X2 or an X Star? I'm thinking X2 because of the single axle trailer. That is one beautiful boat no matter what. Congrats!

jason is right,
that is the maristar v200 with a tower. basically an x-2 without all 'x' crap!

so, is this boat any different from an X-Star other than the graphics? it sure does look a heck of a lot better....
Old     (john_d)      Join Date: Apr 2003       08-19-2006, 8:24 PM Reply
Actually it is a X-2 in maristar form. That color combo looks amazing congrats.

So is their any difference between the X-2 and the Maristar other than graphics/packaging? Is the hull exactly the same? Is a Maristar with the ballast and tower identical to an X-2, from the boarder's standpoint?
Old     (duckguy)      Join Date: Jul 2006       08-20-2006, 12:11 AM Reply
the same its like gmc/chevy

Is there any advantage to having a singe axel trailer? I never understood why take the risk. By the way, freakin nice boat.

I'm completely confused here.

The Maristar and X2 are the SAME boat? Is there built in ballast and things like that? What are the differences?

What about price??? I'm going to look at MC.com now. Still a beautiful boat. I am in love with the color/layout!

Yep, the Maristar 200 and the X2 are pretty much the same boat, just packaged differently. Much like a Toyota Camry and a Lexus ES 300 are very similar.
Old     (duckguy)      Join Date: Jul 2006       08-21-2006, 6:24 AM Reply
Yup-The X2 comes standard with a tower and ballast where on a maristar they are options-As mine is setup the only difference is the gel scheme and the stiching in the boat.I was out in it yesterday and for all those who have any doubts about this boat-DONT. It rides, handles, looks, and is better in every way than my 04 x2.
